Rob Marshall is a GENIUS! Director of Nine... fabulous film so full of life and enthusiasm.
What I loved most about the film was the cinematography, the way the songs are pigments of Guido's (Daniel Day Lewis) imagination. How he melts, personally and professionally is portrayed with such soul.
Marion Cotillard is such a beautiful actress however the real star of the show is Fergie! What a powerful voice/woman. Her song 'Be Italian' is outstanding, I would watch the film again and again just for her!
One of my favourite scenes is where Guido is at the fountain with Claudia (Nicole Kidman), the lighting is so soft and reflects magically around her flawless face; even her curls look supreme. Such a magnificent scene; lighting wise. Marshall has used such depth and consideration into every shot. Just as Stephanie (Kate Hudson) says 'every frame is like a postcard.'
